The National Family Court Watch Project Partners with Hague Mothers to End Injustices Under The Hague Convention

The National Family Court Watch Project (NFCWP) is excited to announce our partnership with Hague Mothers, a coalition committed to empowering women affected by unjust decisions under the Hague Convention. Together, we aim to shed light on the challenges faced by mothers and children escaping domestic violence due to misinterpretations of the Convention’s regulations.

Unfortunately, the Hague Convention, often used as a tool of international law, has, in some cases, been misapplied, compelling protective mothers to return to unsafe environments with their children. Through this partnership, we aim to expose these injustices, advocate for systemic reforms, and ensure that the rights and safety of mothers and children take priority.
