NFCWP welcomes students, researchers, professionals, and community members interested in improving the family court system through independent observation, rigorous research, and collaborative education.
Whether you are interested in courtroom observation, research, data analysis, policy development, or public education, there are opportunities to contribute to this growing body of work.
Opportunities include:
• Participate as a trained court observer
• Collaborate on research and data analysis
• Support student externships and educational programs
• Contribute policy or legal research
• Assist with outreach, education, and organizational development
• Donate to support research, data analysis, and publications
Together, we are building a deeper understanding of family court processes and generating data and insights that advance stronger family court policy and practice to protect children and families.

This project has been successfully used as a classroom project and is viewed with extreme interest by students and professors alike.

If you are interested in using our program for your classroom or extern program, please contact us. Externs must be eligible to receive academic credit from their institutions.

Give the gift of your time, talent, and desire to improve the judicial system by taking part in a growing court monitoring project collecting data for research. Help to ensure that the family courts effectively protect families, victims of violence, especially children.

We need volunteers interested in: Court Monitoring, Social Media, Graphic design, Blogging, Fundraising, and Volunteer Management.
